Join the WSU Extension Master Gardeners at the Bellevue Botanical Garden on Sunday, September 13th, (see event times below) to explore how our backyards can actively protect and enhance PNW biodiversity.
This year’s inspiring education event features practical strategies for growing a resilient garden ecosystem to help protect our biodiversity in a changing world. Learn from expert speakers Cassie Knavel (WSDA), Alma Cardenas (EMG), and Molly van der Burch (EMG).
Be sure to bring the kids – they’ll have an opportunity for hands-on experiences at a special table hosted by the Bellevue Botanical Garden Society. Here, youngsters can plant something to take home, learn about grasslands and meadows, and also experience a “Find it Challenge!” at the Garden.

The Plant Sale is open 10:00am – 2:00pm, however, online registration for all 3 talks ($25.00) allows you early entry to the Plant Sale at 9:30am!
