Cool Plants, Hot Topics Plant Sale and Talks!

The Master Gardener Foundation of King County invites you to its ‘Cool Plants, Hot Topics Plant Sale and Talks‘ at the Bellevue Botanical Garden.

The theme for this annual event is ‘Become A Pollinator Protector’

In addition to garden talks by WSU Extension Master Gardeners and other well-known local horticulturalists, you are also invited to attend the Grand Opening of the new Habitats at Home demonstration garden. The garden was created by WSU Extension King County Master Gardener program supported by a grant from King Conservation District and in partnership with the City of Bellevue.

 Speaker Schedule:
10:00am – 11:00am  Molly van der Burch – ‘Climate Ready Plants’
11:30am – 12:30pm  Susan Melgaard ‘Pollinators – Our Unsung Heroes’
1:00pm – 2:00pm      Daniel Mount – ‘From Far and Near – Native Plants for Northwest Gardens’

Cost: $10.00 per talk or $25.00 for the total package of 3 talks. See Guest Speaker Bios for more information.

The vendor area will include specialty nurseries and vendors to help you select this year’s fall plantings as well as fresh bouquets and seeds for sale.
Check out our great list of Plant Sale Vendors and Partners! There is no charge to attend the plant sale or to visit the Bellevue Botanical Garden.
